Shery Christopher ventured into the world of business franchising in 1982 after deciding she needed to do something less emotionally draining than working as a Patient Counselor in the newborn center of a high-risk maternity hospital. She began selling car phones for Mobile Telephone of America, a unique car phone franchise in Denver, Colorado--she knew a lot of doctors who needed car phones! Shery’s organizational skills caught the eye of MTA's owner, Shirley B., who brought her down to the home office in Phoenix, Arizona to help restructure the entire system and all of the existing franchisees across the USA.  During her time with MTA, Shery became a certified Paralegal before leaving to co-develop her own franchise, Adventure Games of America (a capture the flag paintball game) with partners in 1984, eventually developing California and England before selling out to pursue other interest.  In 1990, after working with large franchises such as UniGlobe Travel and small franchises in the US and the UK, she started her independent consulting firm Shery Christopher Consulting, and the rest, as they say, is herstory: the story of a passion for franchising.

Shery’s international, multi-faceted business franchise consulting practice offers clients a unique approach by integrating intuition and insight with extensive practical experience and expertise in the industry. Shery combines coaching with consultation to bring out the best in each individual client and expand the possibilities of each particular business through creative vision, strategic planning, focused direction and continuing long-term support. From an initial analysis of a new or existing franchise business to implementing structure, programming and documentation; supervising attorney liaisons, sales and marketing expansion; and promoting growth on a national and international scale, Shery works closely with you every step of the way.
